Temat: not sure about that "Software Upscaling feature" in Plex (use v0.7.4)
I have never really grasped software upscaling , I thought that the TV itself would be upscaling anyway.
Is plex software upscaling better than the TV upscaling ? (Toshiba 42Z3030 in my case)
I remember when DVD upscaling was added to the PS3 and this produced a noticeable difference
It probably depends on your TV/video card :) Having Plex do it removes any variability.
