AirplusTV Group and Telecom Italia have completed the transfer of the La7 Cartapiù terrestrial pay-TV business to the Italian division of the Swedish-owned company.
AirplusTV intends to develop the current offer of live football matches from Serie A and B into a wider bouquet. “The Italian market is one of Europe’s key TV markets and the Italian operations will be one of our corner stones in our European expansion of digital terrestrial pay-TV,” said AirplusTV CEO Håkan Ramsin.
